Burcin Candan
Landscape Architect
After graduating in Landscape Architecture in 2006, she obtained her first Master’s degree with a thesis on garden lighting strategies and the relationship between light and vegetation. She then obtained a second Master’s degree at the University of Florence with a thesis on the reinterpretation of a historic urban landscape in Istanbul – Taksim Square. After a few years of experience in design and artistic direction in various construction sites, she worked in the largest plant nurseries in Europe. Enabling her to work in different climates, from warmer to colder, this experience allowed her to gain extensive knowledge about vegetation.
Between 2008 and 2016, she participated in courses, congresses and workshops organised by several universities, including Sassari, Lisbon, Istanbul and Stockholm.
She has been working with AG&P as a freelancer since 2022. Her most recent projects include the Gardens in Villa Rezzola in Lerici (developed design – vegetation) a masseria in Puglia and a private garden (concept – detailed design phases and landscape artistic supervision assistance).
