Parco San Martino is a green area connected to the Riviera dei Fiori cycling path and overlooking the sea. Being located in a strategic position within the environmental and coastal context of the Municipality of Sanremo, it received special funding under the Territorial Strategy “Sanremoverde” (POR FESR 2021-2027) to address climate change and strengthen urban biodiversity. The project aimed to reduce paved areas, remove impermeable surfaces in favor of permeable pavements, increase tree and shrub vegetation to promote biodiversity, and improve environmental wellbeing and thermal comfort for visitors. A special area is dedicated to dogs and their owners, who have long frequented this place and now have a renewed space for their activities.
