The Territorial Strategy for Sustainable Urban Development in the city of Savona, co-financed by FESR (the European Regional Development Fund), is the effort of a multidisciplinary group of professionals led by AG&P greenscape.

The Strategy, starting from an urban, environmental and socio-economic analysis supported by a process of listening to citizens, suggests a re-organisation of the city’s open space and public heritage to implement a socio-ecological network of sustainable urban development through an array of meticulous design operations involving civic nodes and their open spaces.

Through these actions, the urban and territorial transformation aims to mitigate the risks of environmental and social vulnerability and improve territorial resilience. This is a major landscape project for the city; it integrates the enhancement of the historical-cultural heritage and public buildings, increased biodiversity and climate change adaptation measures, in a new composition of places where equity, quality of life and beauty meet and are the matrix of sustainable urban development.
